Introduction to PaPHS

PaPHS is an educational organization created in accordance with the terms of its Certificate of Incorporation and operated in accordance with its Bylaws.

The Bylaws authorize up to eleven directors who determine the policies of PaPHS. The Bylaws also authorize the appointment by the Board of Directors of a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer who conduct the day-to-day affairs of PaPHS and who carry out the directives of the Board of Directors. Other officers appointed by the Board of Directors for specialized functions are an Editor of the Historian, an Auctioneer, a Publicity Officer and a Catalogs Officer.
